Kathrn & I are LOSERS! And one night we decided to be each other's fortune tellers and ended up typing up little reports for one another and this is what she gave me:

Mary's future via Kathryn

Pre-Husband: you will date a few guys before finding Mr.Right. First you will fall for a cute indie LA Film School guy when visiting Colin. You guys will have an amazing week together, however distance is an issue so you decide to remain friends. You go back to Tech and you are sad because you think that guys like the one you met in California don't exist on the east coast. However, you so discover that they do and you date around for awhile.

The One: while at Tech, you grow to find D.R. the most annoying guy on earth (like 10 times worse than now) and you try to avoid him at all costs. While at the food court he spots you and starts heading towards your table (you are sitting alone and there is only one other chair) he tries to sit with you, while telling ridiculous probably didn't happen stories about the night before, when "the one" comes up to your table and gets rid of D.R. for you... he could tell D.R. was annoying the crap out of you. You have a great lunch and decide to date. (He's also really hot, he's not exactly indie but he loves the same music that you do... think of him as indie without the attitude, if you know what I mean). *Note: it may not happen exactly like this but you will meet a fellow Tech guy, and he will be "the one"

The Proposal: okay, you date till graduation and you guys will decide to go to the same graduate school. He is studying ENgineering while you are concentrating on child psychology. First he will ask your parents, they will agree because he is a really good guy and they have always liked him. His proposal will be unexpected and really really ridiculously romantic! Like possibly the best proposal ever, none of this amateur shit, this proposal might even make it onto Perfect Proposal

Here comes the Bride: the wedding is gorgeous. He's Catholic! So it works out and you get married the traditional catholic church way. He takes you to Paris for your honeymoon, as well as other Parts of Europe. Conor Oberst is your Wedding singer, okay... not really, but who knows... (lol, welcome to Mary's Very Emo Wedding... ha ha jk!)

Post Wedding Life: Since you're in your mid twenties, you decide to concetrate on your career a bit before having children. Eventually you will have two kids whom from birth vow never to pop their collars. They actually end up being really cool kids, (I mean come on, they hang out with my kids... need I say more?) Your Husband, who is an engineer/architect and yourself do really well and you have a beautiful home with the most perfect staircase ever. During the honeymoon, you develop a love for Europe, so you will visit frequently (you still love summer in the Carribean though, and usually make a stop there as well). Your kids are frickin smart! One will get into an Ivy league and the other will decide to go a different route and study film/production at a well-known university, they both are very successful. Because of your success, you and your husband are able to retire early. After retirement, you decide to go into business with your good friend Kathryn, and the two of you develop an emo-oasis, you end up being the coolest old people these kids have ever met! Your life is a gloriously golden halo of cheese. Baked in a crockery.

Ha ha... we'll see if this really happens. California Indie boy, you can come into my life now!
